About Us

In 1948, on about 20 acres of grassy prairie land, a new subdivision was created called Huisache Acres (named after the trees that dotted its landscape) and 31 generously sized lots were platted, bounded on the north by Cedar Creek, on the east by S. Post Oak Lane, on the south by Fieldwood, and the west by Sage.

 

Today, there are 64 homes in the subdivision: 36 on Cedar Creek, 26 on Fieldwood, and 2 on South Post Oak Lane. All homes were built after 1991 when the deed restrictions were changed encouraging construction of new homes on smaller, subdivided lots.

 

Today's owners reflect Houston's international diversity and are proud to call Huisache Acres home.
